In recognition and appreciation to our fellow sailors in the Armed Forces of Malta for recording the sounds
of the 12V71 engines on their two
AFM Swift Boats
as they got underway in the waters near Marsamxett Harbour, the Maltese flag was temporarily raised next to the US Ensign
on PCF-104 during the 2007 Swift Reunion in San Diego. The sounds were played as US veterans
toured this treasure
at the completion of a
Memorial Ceremony
